Terms of use

The everyday rules for using CardSite while it runs in sandbox billing mode.

Last updated 26 July 2026 · Governing law: England and Wales

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your cards and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One person, one account.

Sandbox billing

Every plan is activated in sandbox mode. No payment provider is connected, no card details are collected, no invoices are issued and no charge is ever made. Prices shown are illustrative and describe what a plan would cost.

Plan limits

Plan limits — published cards per member, links per card, templates, analytics history, contact exchange, exports and roles — are enforced on the server. Downgrading never deletes your content; it only prevents creating or publishing beyond the new limits.

Acceptable use

  • Do not impersonate other people or organisations.
  • Do not publish unlawful, misleading or harmful content or links.
  • Do not attempt to access another workspace's data or to bypass plan limits.
  • Do not use automated tools to flood public forms or analytics endpoints.

Accounts that break these rules may be suspended.

Availability

CardSite is provided as-is while in sandbox mode, with no uptime guarantee. A saved QR card keeps showing its code offline, but anyone scanning it needs an internet connection to load the public profile.
